Ken Ellison (grandfather, CPA and Attorney) founded the company ‘Ellison & Nelson Inc’ in February 1956. His vision was to provide accounting services, with a tax preparation component, while focusing on Estate, Will, and Probate tax law. He operated the firm until 1992, when Steve Ellison (father, Enrolled Agent) took over as 2nd generation owner/operator. Steve’s focus was Income Tax Preparation while providing top quality accounting services. Steve operated the firm under Tax & Accounting Specialists Inc for over 20-years.
In mid-2013, Patrick Ellison (Enrolled Agent, son) took the reins as 3rd generation owner/operator with a focus on all business matters, from taxation and accounting, to growth and sustainability. Patrick acquired the firm through his organization Ellison & Associates Inc, a small conglomerate he founded in 2010. Patrick has always believed in customer service first, and as such has grown the company specifically to maintain a high quality of service for his clients. With this in mind, the company acquired, through merger, KW Douglas LLC, a Tulsa based accounting firm in 2021/2022. This allowed EA Inc to scale its offered services to more client base as well as bringing on the additional firm partners; Keith Weldon and Teresa Philips.
Today, EA Inc can proudly boast investments and equities in several industries, including Real Estate, apparel, racing and agriculture, as well as philanthropic activities such as sitting on the board of EDCforASD Inc, a public charity trying to bring awareness, education, and resources to the local ASD community. We at EA Inc believe in growth and knowledge and continue to grow our multi-divisional business model, which we believe gives us better expertise and insight to assist in our clients' success.
